Scope and Topics of the Workshop
In recent years, signal processing is a vital part of the industrial transformation and information communications. Advanced signal processing algorithms, including machine learning and deep learning techniques, are designed and utilized to provide innovative solutions for the evolution of industrial transformation and information communications systems. For industrial transformation, artificial intelligence must be integrated with various industries in order to play a role, and form a truly effective industry intelligence, so as to help the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. For information communications, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled signal processing technologies potentially provide a promising solution to efficient channel estimation, signal detection and parameter estimation, emitter identification and positioning, spectrum utilization, wireless networking and resource allocation in wireless communication systems. Considering the diverse and fast-growing nature of research in this field, the Emerging Topics in Advanced Signal Processing Workshop welcomes original contributions in all pertinent aspects of signal processing for communications, including algorithm, performance analysis, implementation, applications and etc. Topics of interest in this workshop include but not limited to the following:
- Signal Processing for Big Data
- Statistical Signal Processing for Parameter Estimation
- Machine Learning for industrial transformation
- Machine Learning for Information Communications
- Neural Networks for Signal Processing Applications
- Spectrum sensing, spectrum sharing and spectrum learning
- Reinforcement learning for cognitive radio and networks
- Machine learning techniques for indoor positioning;
- Signal processing in indoor positioning.
- Autonomous Robot Path Planning
